Our Process Our Process
Step 1: Evaluate Your Needs and Document the Plan
Confirm Insurance Company has received your damage report, confirm you claim number, evaluate you vehicle and identify what's needed to repair it based on visual inspection. We then confirm your policy's coverage, review your payment policy with you, schedule repairs and projected completion date, and present our Repair Order documentation for you authorization and signature.
Step 3: Body Repairs Are Completed and Prepared for Painting
All damaged parts have been replaced or repaired according to plan; you vehicle is inspected to ensure the repairs are complete and correct as ordered.
To ensure a factory quality paint finish, your vehicle undergoes multiple steps of careful preparation, including: cleaning, sanding, priming, sealing, and masking.
Step 5: Final Vehicle Assembly
Final parts assembly is completed, repainted panels are sanded and polished. Your vehicle is carefully inspected to ensure the final repair meets our highest quality standards, the vehicle is then sent for cleanup based on your requested wash level.
Step 2: Obtain Your Parts and Begin Repairs
The necessary parts are ordered and logged upon receipt. Typical orders take 2 business days for OEM parts, longer for used or aftermarket parts. Once the parts have been received, we dissassemble the damaged parts, re-inspect your vehicle for hidden damage, and tear down the damaged parts. If any additional damage is found, we notify you and provide a written supplement to the Insurance Company.
Step 4: Painting (Color and Clear Coats)
New paint is expertly mixed to match you vehicle's existing color. Multiple coats of paint are applied to the repaired areas followed by clear coats for added gloss and protection. The new finish is baked/cured to accelerate drying for durability and expedient assembly.
Step 6: Customer Notification, Review and Delivery
We contact you to confirm that repairs are complete and to schedule a time for you to take delivery of your vehicle. We then meet with you to review repairs, discuss questions you may have, ensure your satisfaction with our work and finalize any and all payments.
Your Rights Your Rights
Remember! Pennsylvania law states that YOU have the right to choose your collision repair facility, NOT your insurance company. Your insurance company may want to steer you to another body shop, perhaps one that is not as familiar with high line vehicles or as well equipped as we are. This can not only be a detriment to the appearance and residual value of your vehicle, but also your safety.
